Our Coaches
Coach Kale
My name is Kale Evans, but you may know me as Coach Kale! Born and raised in a sports-loving family in the 4S Ranch neighborhood of San Diego, I’ve been an athlete since the age of three. At Cathedral Catholic High School, I was a three-sport athlete—playing football, basketball, and lacrosse—and I continued my passion for athletics at the University of Oregon, where I earned a degree in Business and Economics while staying active in intramural sports.
I’ve also seen firsthand the positive impact coaching can have through my father’s 25+ years of coaching. That experience showed me how a great coach can shape a child’s confidence, discipline, and love for the game. Over the years, I’ve volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club and coached several youth football teams, experiences that deepened my commitment to teaching and mentoring kids through sports.
Today, I’m excited to continue my coaching journey with SoccerKids and TeeBallKids—and very soon, BasketballKids! My goal is to create a fun, supportive, and energetic environment where kids can learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love for sports.
Coach Jaime
My name is Jaime Parady, but most know me as Coach Jaime. In 2002, I developed SoccerKids in San Francisco to introduce children between the ages of 3.5 and 8 to the wonderful game of soccer.
With such an enthusiastic soccer community in San Diego, I am excited to lead SoccerKids and TeeBallKids classes in sunny SoCal!
I bring over 22 years of experience teaching children the game of soccer and hold both the top state-level and National Youth Soccer Coaching Licenses. While those credentials are important, what I’m most proud of is my ability to help children grow—not only as soccer players but also as individuals—through the game.
During a SoccerKids class, I create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where having fun, trying your best, and showing good sportsmanship are always more important than the final score. In fact, at SoccerKids, the score is always the same:
“Fun to Fun!”
