General Program Information
1. What is SoccerKids?
SoccerKids is a specially designed soccer program for children that combines fun, physical activity, and skill development. Our goal is to introduce kids to the fundamentals of soccer in a way that is age-appropriate, engaging, and confidence-building. We believe sports should not only develop physical skills but also help children grow socially, emotionally, and mentally. Through SoccerKids, children learn teamwork, communication, coordination, and discipline—all while having a great time on the field.
2. What age groups do you accept?
Our program is open to children between 3.5 years and 12 years old. We divide kids into different age groups so they can play with peers at a similar stage of development:
3.5–5 years (Little Kickers): Introduction to soccer through fun games and basic ball control.
6–8 years (Rising Players): Focus on foundational skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.
9–12 years (Junior Champs): More advanced techniques, strategy, and preparing kids for competitive play.
This structure ensures that every child is challenged but never overwhelmed.
3. Does my child need prior soccer experience?
Not at all! SoccerKids is built for all skill levels—from absolute beginners to kids who have already played before. Beginners will learn the basics in a supportive environment, while more experienced players will be given opportunities to refine and expand their skills. Every child progresses at their own pace, and our coaches are trained to adjust activities to match each child’s ability level.
4. What should my child bring to class?
We recommend that your child comes prepared with:
- Comfortable athletic clothing (shorts, T-shirts, tracksuits, etc.)
- Sneakers or soccer cleats (cleats are optional for younger kids)
- A filled water bottle to stay hydrated
- Lots of enthusiasm and energy!
Soccer balls, cones, and other training equipment are provided by us, so you don’t need to worry about bringing any gear.
5. How long are the classes and how often do they take place?
Our classes typically run for 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the child’s age group. Younger children tend to have shorter sessions to match their attention span and energy levels, while older children have longer classes with more drills and gameplay.
Most families sign up for a weekly session, though we also run holiday camps, workshops, and special training events during school breaks
6. How many children are in each class?
We believe every child deserves individual attention, which is why we keep our groups small and manageable. On average, there are 8–12 children per coach. This balance allows children to socialize and practice teamwork while ensuring that coaches can focus on personal growth and skill development for each participant.
